We covered Island Vibe festival on Stradbroke island last year- great music, atmosphere and family friendly. This year's fest is the last weekend of October and should be heaps of fun again. The lineup is looking sweet, with Chali 2na, the Bamboos and Mista Savonah getting my attention. check it all out at islandvibe.com.au. also worth a look is the Shapeshifter tour in Sept- live dnb from NZ, these guys play tight, fast and loud. check out nicheproductions.com.au for more info- I know they're playing Byron on Sept 9, Gold coast sept 10, and brisbane sept 11.
